These guys are the best (with special shout-out to Julia!) As first-time homebuyers we had some unsuccessful stints in the housing market earlier. We decided to find someone new. Julia and Jeffrey helped us in every step of the way. Julia was primarily handling all our work and she was always on top of things. She helped us understand disclosures, the entire process from mortgage to fixing things in the house! Jeffrey’s knowledge on construction was very helpful in understanding the costs of any work to be done in the house. They helped us find contractors and even advised us on how to smoothly break our existing rental contract! We are very happy we found Julia and Jeffrey. They always went a step above in helping us! Wendy Graves is an exceptional realtor who helped me sell a home and buy another, both in Oakland, CA. At the start of both transactions, Wendy said she would take care of everything, and make the process of selling, and buying, as painless as possible. I'm an anxious person, so I was doubtful, but she delivered. Wendy is available and responsive to clients. She returned my texts, emails, and phone calls quickly, even on evenings and weekends. Relatable and genuine, Wendy never made me feel I was imposing. Selling my tenancy in common (TIC) was complicated, but Wendy intelligently and ethically navigated legal, regulatory, and county compliance issues, involving me only when necessary. Julia (with the help of Jeffrey and the rest of the team) sold our property in Sacramento. This was our first time selling a property, so there were a lot of learnings to be had. Thankfully, we had Julia and Jeffrey. In an uncertain market, they were a steady, reliable team - providing guidance, benchmarks, helping us set expectations and giving valuable feedback. Numerous on-site visits were required throughout the process and Julia didn't hesitate to drive to the property whenever needed and to do whatever was needed - including changing a light bulb that had gone out - thank you again for that Julia! Stefan Brunnschweiler at Winkler Real Estate Group helped us to purchase our first condo in 2002, then helped us sell it in 2023. He also represented us when we bought a single-family home in El Cerrito in 2022. Stefan is personable, professional, responsive and knowledgeable about the East Bay real estate market. We had a difficult time with the sellers when we bought our home last year, and Stefan patiently guided us through the negotiations and interactions with the lender and escrow companies. He prepared our condo for sale last fall and held numerous open houses and private showings. We ended up taking it off the market for 6 months until interest rates stabilized and the market started turning around. Stefan suggested we put it on the market when inventory was low this spring and he found a buyer in no time! I used to work in this office and when I'd go on tour, which is where agents go to see properties open on the market, without fail when other agents saw my card, they'd always say, "Oh, Danny Winkler...I did an escrow with him. Gerri and Lena are an amazing team. With a tight budget, and some very specific criteria from my partner, they were still able to find a wonderful home for us. Danny probably doesn't want you to know this but he will respond almost immediately to any text or email. He is very responsive! This is helpful for a seller who is anxious about the steps to sell. He has a great reputation in the community, every realtor that knows him says so. He helped my buy and sell my last home in Oakland.
